In formation — founding pledges open · no money accepted

Register a founding pledge.

Three steps, no urgency. This is a pledge of intent for the founding round — not a payment. Nothing is collected before the entity exists, and no payment details are requested. Until the entity exists, the flow operates by countersigned email.

STEP 1 OF 3

Choose a tier

Tiers are recognition levels. None of them carries a seat, a vote, or influence over a grant.

Contributorfrom EUR 100 · Founding Fund · 12 mo
Supporting Sponsorfrom EUR 2,500 / rolling 12 mo · Founding Fund
Sustaining Sponsorfrom EUR 10,000 / rolling 12 mo · Founding Fund
Endowment Sponsorfrom EUR 25,000 · permanent endowment · 36 mo
Principal Endowment Sponsorfrom EUR 100,000 (tier floor) · permanent endowment · 48 mo

This is a pledge of intent for the founding round, not a payment. Contributor tier takes any amount from EUR 100 — name yours in the email.

STEP 2 OF 3

Identify

Your pledge email should carry:

  • Name or organization
  • Contact email
  • Public display name — optional, for the register
  • Whether to list you in the public sponsor register
  • Control-group declaration — where related entities aggregate for the register

Related entities — subsidiaries, affiliates, entities under common control — count as one control group, so recognition and conflict disclosure describe real control rather than legal wrappers. There is no ballot to cap: sponsorship carries no vote. List yours in plain words; we confirm the grouping with you before anything counts.

STEP 3 OF 3

Know what you are signing

  • No financial return, token, or equity — sponsorship is a contribution, not an investment.
  • A default share of an unrestricted pledge is endowed permanently and the remainder funds current mission work through the Founding Fund. You may decline the endowment share, or endow the whole pledge; Endowment tiers are permanent in full. State your election in the pledge email — there is no giving form yet. You may request a different permitted allocation before your pledge is accepted.
  • Sponsorship confers recognition only. No amount buys a seat on either organ, a vote, a nomination right, or influence over a grant decision, and no donor receives goods, services, preferential terms, or any other financially appraisable benefit.
  • The Foundation is being formed as a sihtasutus — an Estonian foundation with no members — and does not yet exist. Your pledge converts to a contribution only when the entity exists and final terms are countersigned; if formation fails, it lapses and nothing is collected.
  • Final statutes, gift terms, investment policy, and tax treatment require Estonian legal and accounting review before any money is accepted.

Compose the pledge email — lead@onym.app

One email, prefilled with the fields above. Sending it commits neither side.

AFTER YOU SEND IT

What happens next

  1. You receive a countersigned receipt of intent.
  2. We notify you when the legal entity is formed — a sihtasutus registered in Estonia.
  3. You receive the first sponsor report on the same schedule as every other sponsor.

Nothing is collected before formation. If formation fails, the pledge lapses.
